Given I pretty much forget Reddit exists, a small part of me wants to feel bad for the fat-ass who lost his job just for trolling, though admittedly I’m not privy to all of what he actually did and I don’t want to be.
Most of me just thinks “tough shit” and is slightly “glad” that someone is finally made to pay up for the consequences of something, even if it’s no one who actually “needs” to in the grand scheme of things, i.e. to make this country and world actually slightly less crappy.
I’m sure it happened rather shortly after overuse of “epic” (really) took off, especially with no one slapping the taste of the mouths of the people who have now doomed that poor word to describe the utterly mundane and falsely hyped. I mean I noticed the “feels” thing early at least this year and considering how behind I am on “popular” things, that must mean it’s at least a year older than that if not more so.
To be “fair”, Deathstroke has never had fire powers like Slade got in the later episodes of Teen Titan after he “died”.
Deathstroke generally doesn’t need them, though he actually tended to stay away from superheroes before getting more and more derailed. Similarly, using Identity Crisis as evidence of anything is not a good idea. Identity Crisis was fucking horrible.
