Anyone know of mods for Blood or Rise of the Triad that enable freelook all the time, like some mods do for Doom 1 and 2? I really want to play these games, but I need to be able to freelook all the time.
I used Doomsday mod for when I was modding Doom 1/2(adds freelook, higher resolution and other stuff.) I used Tenenbrae mod for Quake 1, which gave it Doom 3 level graphics. I now need some beastly mods for Blood and Rise of the Triad.
Cartoon Network— What the hell happened this time? This is SUPPOSED to be Green Lantern time… and the “How to Train Your Dragon” bullshit starring that dude with the dorkiest voice in history is on. Yeah, for the 1000th time… fuck this stupid ass network.
Once again these dumbasses apparently don’t want ratings and quality… the channel has been changed. The Iron Man cartoon on CW is just barely “ok” from what I’ve seen so far, but I’d rather watch that over the stupid dragon cartoon any time.
Heard about it, can be unwieldy sometimes with labeling things exactly. But that’s the one talked about the most. Wouldn’t hurt to try to find rival services. Unless you want to get into Microsoft Excel and just do it yourself. But in doing it that way you have to keep yourself motivated to do it all without the guidance and directions.
I held off starting my day just to catch GL and YJ

5 days a week isn’t enough for that shit?! Dreamworks let Shrek die(I hope)! If CN is so damn insistent on pimping this out, the LEAST they should do is keep dragons on the afternoons/evenings(And they WILL run it later ANYWAY) and NO WHERE ELSE!!!

I’ve lived with a hoarder, and trust me, they get fucking downright psycho when you confront them with the fact that they have to much useless shit, and it needs to go. I lived with a guy who would hoard EVERYTHING. Every time he saw a tv or VCR on the side of the road, he had to have it. At one point, there was a living room we were supposed to share, and we didn’t have walls. Because he had stacked TV’s from floor to ceiling, wall to wall, and then some. And at one point, he asked me to go pick up a tv for him that somebody was throwing out, and I flat out said no. He tried to tell me all these bullshit excuses, like “oh its still working perfect” (How he knew from it being on the SIDE OF THE ROAD I dunno) or “I will need that for conventions” or “but but but old school video game consoles work best on CRT tv’s…how will I play Duckhunt?” even though he had like 175 CRT’s. And he would hoard dumb shit too, like takeout food containers.
One other sad fact: One day I used one of his tupperware containers, and he lost his shit. And at that point i realized that no amount of help or arguing from me would help, and moved on. You need to realize that if your mom is THAT bad, you alone will be powerless to stop her, and you may need to make drastic choices (get SERIOUS help for her, or move)

Even if there are good shows in the future on CN… if they’re airing on that network, there’s obviously no point in even watching a single episode, because you already know it will be gone after exactly 1 season or less. This is not an occasional thing… this stupid shit seems to happen literally EVERY goddamn time. I hope their piss ass excuse for a network fails worse than G4.
Conspiracy theory time— I think there might actually have been a double agent of sorts that got high up in that company for the past several years. Wouldn’t it be a brilliant long-term strategy, if you somehow manage to get one of your people hired there… and they ascend the ranks until they can actually make certain decisions on programming… but they’re really working for you the whole time…then you can repeatedly sabotage them with intentionally stupid decisions, effectively destroying your competition from the inside out.
*meanwhile on CW-- one of the “AMAZO” episodes of Justice League was on… heh, that character is so gloriously overpowered, I love it. I forgot how he just casually moved Oa to another dimension… the Green Lantern told him to put it back… AMAZO’s eyes glowed for a second and just like that it was DONE. There’s no telling how far I would go to have that level of godlike power for real. AMAZO has got to be one of the most powerful characters ever shown in a cartoon. It’s a shame the version that appeared in Young Justice was quite a step down from that… it makes sense though. The JL version of him was basically impossible to kill or defeat in battle. He was easily “cosmic being” status at that point.
Cartoons aren’t made to be watched, they’re made to sell mass amounts of toys. They come out for like a year or two, toys get dumped on toddlers, then the shows get replaced. Look at the whole Fox bullshit, cancelling X-Men and Spidey in the middle of great story arcs. Or half the other great toons out there that got cancelled after 1-2 seasons (hint hint Masters of the Universe)
