Not a big guitar guy, but couldn’t you just switch out the pickups whenever you feel like it? It would be a bitch probably, but much cheaper then buying two whole guitars.
She’s mad pretty though.
So if I were to want more treble I would opt for a pickup, say for solos/lead and for more bass/rhythm stuff a humbucker? Both are obviously bass guitars, I’m just asking about pickups and humbuckers in general.
And women don’t have hobbies…I wish I had an explanation for that which didn’t sound sexist.
But yeah, my girl’s idea of spending time together is me sitting next to her while she reads a book.
Other then that, movies and occasional art outings, we may start cooking together, just because we both like trying different foods and to be honest, nobody in my family can cook, or her family besides her dad.
Closest thing in my family is my dad and I can grill, everything else is out the box shit, and my mom will occasionally make bomb ass enchiladas, but she never sticks to anything.
It would require some pretty crazy modding to get that kind of plug and play swap-ability. You can change them, sure, but you need to open up the control cavity and do some wiring every time.
And humbuckers don’t exactly work like that, I pretty much prefer humbuckers for everything, single coils just feel too twangy and weak to me, bass or guitar.
Yeah, you also have to do that haha, there are covers for single coils to fit in the same cavity though. Active Humbuckers require bigger cavities again in general.
Humbuckers are going to be higher gain and more powerful, but also sharper treble and chunkier bass sounds. Single coils tend to sound a little more rounded off and smooth, sometimes boomy. Personally, I have no lasting preference. I love any sound those things can make, and I want them all.
Him: I play the electric bass.
Her: eh, I like guitar players.
Him: have a seat on that amp there.
2 minutes later
Her: WHY DID YOU STOP PLAYING I WAS ALMOST THERE
I feel like qualifying this by saying, a lot, or most women. It’s one of those annoying unnecessary trends that I believe is far more nurture than nature. Some dudes get off on this concept too, feeling like it means the girl needs them more. She doesn’t need you, she needs a babysitter. I refuse to play that role, which is one of the many reasons I remain single.
People ask me what I look for in a woman, and it’s hard to answer, because it’s simultaneously simple and complex. It’s simple in that most of the qualifiers (she needs to look like this, she needs this kind of job, etc.) don’t really apply, but other stuff does. Like, the #1 thing my girl needs is a hobby.
Random: I got tweeted at last night by the Jaina Solo cosplayer chick. Didn’t expect that.
Randomer: I discovered the other night that i was following SRKev on twitter and never realized it.
Word. Cute with bazoozums and I’ll bet her feet smell like roses and turn her bath water pink. Instead of nasty brown like mine do. I got a real man’s feet*!
*I am kidding. My feet have little to no noticeable effect on bath water.
There was a Melrose Place reunion on GMA today. Man… the women still looked great. All the actors discussed their favorite moments and shit. Heather Locklear had hit the wall at one point in her career visually but today she looked like she bounced back and looked supergood. Jane, Jo, and Sydney were there too and they all looked slim and fit.
I loved Melrose Place. I don’t think there has been a soap show like it to captivate me on a regular basis since. Most of the shows like it have either just really good drama but not enough hotness (Reven8e) or great hotness and not enough drama (Secret Circle). Melrose got me every week, god bless it.
And Amanda is my favorite matriarch/bad girl/ruthless rant master of all-time. She’d put people in their place so fast and so well and make my dick so hard. She could deliver a one-liner like nobody’s business. Allison was like her personal punching bag every episode.

This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:
Mancini wasn’t on GMA though. That kinda sucks. I loved that man (no homo).
