Not as the actual selling point of the game, but it’s a nice bonus to have. When you buy a phone you would like for it to be able to call someone, but if it has internet capabilities it’s a freaking bonus. That’s how I feel about fighting games. I obviously wouldn’t buy a fighting game for the story mode, but it would be nice if they put some thought into it.

Meh. Mostly boredom. Partly because I’m probably never going to play the game and so it becomes an easier, more entertaining way for me to learn about it than either look up all videos sequentially on Youtube or looking up some summation on FFWikia. In former, I would have had to wait for things to load AND still probably not have been able to learn what the fuck was going on in some instances due to the apparent datalog stuff. In the latter, even if it was as informative, it would have been a drier read.
Besides, I get to see humorous art like this or learned about/revisit humorous and/or interesting tropes like Megaton Punch (read the real life section), You Have Researched Breathing and Zettai Ryouiki.
Having read the entire thing (and having gotten sidetracked literally dozens of times), I have only this to say with regards to FFXIII: Damn, they live in a crapsack world.

Oh, it’s the same for me, even as much I like an interesting story (and want to make a fighting game with an interesting story). Which is why, as aforementioned, I don’t understand why some people act like a fighting game having an unnecessary yet more-than-decent story likes a bad, wasted endeavor. I mean, I could understand if the story for a fighting game ended up being like preachy or pseudo-philosophical or something, but that usually tends to happen in RPGs more often than not, so…yeah.

Well, that explains a lot. The other dolls would be a better fit, if they were older. Cammy seems fine in that regard to me, if it’s muscles/fighting ability that you’re looking for. Now, if you only brought up SNK at the same time as that original post, we’d be talking.
I don’t recall Mika being that ripped though. A better attire would do wonders in the way of her actually being likeable to me. Maybe a slight moves overhaul.
