Can someone explain what was going on in the video? Noel was playing and lost? Why wasn’t the gameplay on the stream? Was Noel playing the black dude sitting there not looking like he was doing anything? Why was that guy on the stream then? Video makes no sense
Black guy in chair was waiting for his match. Noel and Damien were playing off stream on one of the side setups. Smooth viper had been talking shit to Noel the whole time about how Noel could never beat a Philly player. Noel warned Arroyo to drop it, or he would be sorry. Eric continued to talk during the match, then got highly vocal and flaunting (as you can tell) at the end of it, and Noel was true to his word, and jumped him.
About 3 or so minutes after this, if you watch the stream, (as you’ve seen them take Noel out one way and Eric out the other), Smooth Viper storms towards the exit they took Noel out, obviously aiming to finish it, as it took about 4 guys to restrain him.
And if you ask me, Eric Arroyo deserves it. He has caused way too much drama in the past, and is always up in people’s faces mouthing and flaunting, and I’m surprised no one’s popped off on him already in the community. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone hasn’t already, and we just haven’t been made aware of it.
i dunno, if he always talks shit (which seems to be the case) then he obviously doesnt deserve it. you know the guy always talks shit, so whats the problem? anyone who throws down over that is a moron and deserves any criminal/civil redress they have coming.
It isn’t the fact that he talks, its the way he acts. He gets up in people’s faces, like close enough that you can count the pores on his nose, and mouths. You can only do that so much before someone makes you swallow some teeth.
And no, he didn’t do that in this instance, but there was obviously some building to this, because very few people snap like that for no reason.

I still can’t believe people will not only fight, but straight up assault someone over Marvel trash talk. If that were par for the course, that’s all tournaments would BE. Fights. At least if they got in each others face they could at least say “Yeah, we got into argument and then a fight started,” but no dude had to bum rush him. I could even see him inputting the 360.

But, yeah, as much as I would want people to respect personal space, especially when it comes to the facial area, getting into a fight over it is just ghetto. Actually, it’s beyond ghetto and verging into “anger issues” and maybe even sociopath territory.
If he’s getting that close just like…lick his face or something since it sounds he’s already looking for a make-out session if he’s that close to one’s face. I mean, you might as well go all the way and given how homophobic a lot of people still are, it would at least get him off you (or at least cause him to swing first and then he is the one getting trouble).
