I don’t care about baseball, but once you commit perjury, you’ve opened yourself up to a whole lot of trouble. I heard a lawyer say about Martha Stewart going to jail a few years ago, once the feds get involved you either tell the truth or try to plead the 5th. Lying will get you fucked up. And as a matter of fact, when they called the ball players up to testify, they were all told that they wouldn’t be charged with any crime related to their testimony- other than perjury.
In summary:
-Bonds is a dick.
-Bonds was on steroids.
-Bonds lied about being on steroids.
-Now he’s getting caught up in his lies.
I have very little sympathy for his situation, and feel zero need to let him get away with anything. As for whether this is all a waste of time/money, one could make the same argument about most perjury cases. This one doesn’t bother me much, either way.

^ok, this guy has a record of violence and resiting arrest, not only that, but the guy has attacked officers before but let the guy go anyway, (news report on tv confirmed). Now he shoots two fucking deputies over a fucking warrant for violating his probation? Luckily the guy got his in the end but come on with the bullshit. I have no record but if I put myself in a situation by doing even half what this guy did prior to his last day on earth I would’ve been put in jail or worse. Most likely the worse. And the guy only stole fucking copper pluming! Worse thing the guy had to do, based on the article, was to pay a $3000+ fine. Wow, slap on the fucking wrist.
People can’t be this naive to the fact that “certain people” are getting better treatment than others, and even if you have money it still doesn’t matter because you’re still not a “certain person”.

I’m honestly surprised someone thinks that way. I don’t remember but was told when I was hit with a belt as a child it left marks and was kept home from school the next day. I don’t have any resentment towards my parents. I did say it’s not fair If I am upset with you I cant hit you and get away with it. Again I don’t remember saying it.
ive never heard his line of thinking before…he was honestly curious and asked a bunch of pretty good questions. its just ive never had anyone be curious why we got beat/why we’re not mad/why do we support beating kids. the minorities came through and posted our own feelings and reasoning…but its pretty universal that we support beatings and we’re not bout to kill someone lol.
