In other news, I walked to the store for a change yesterday…a nice burn on some calories there…the uphill journey back to the apartment is the real bitch though.
Also, I produced another absurdly long turd a few days ago. My Absurd Turds? are beyond the limits of normal human comprehension. I didn’t measure it, but it was easily over a foot…probably close to or even beyond the 2-foot mark. Other people’s turds don’t have shit on mine. OH! OH! I got a million of 'em, folks.

finally got a chance to try out MvC3. It seems pretty sweet, but it’s hella frustrating when your opponent knows what he’s doing and you don’t. I also see now why people rage about X-Factor Sentinel. Oh look, I got hit once and I’m dead.
Most of my frustrations stem from a lack of knowledge about the game. I’m sure I can fix that with a couple hours in training mode, I just really don’t feel like spending $75 on a video game. I’m too used to Steam where I can get games for less than $10.
At least I can still crush the locals in MvC2 
^ I feel the same way. I’ve been playing a lot of downloadable-only games off of PSN lately and I find that these games are more fun than a lot of full-fledged retail games, plus their cheap. I’ve also turned into a cheap bastard because of this Blockbuster “gamepass” that lents me rent any and all games for a month. I just rent whatever game I’m interested in, beat it, then swap it out for another game I want to play and I save myself 70$. Not to mention most games these days are extremely short. I feel these downloadable-only titles rely on gameplay more than anything to sell them, they don’t have the money to have amazing graphics and advertising. They rely on good gameplay+word of mouth for them to sell.
Akuma is better than Ryu in MvC3. Better mobility, more options, more damage, better tatsu assist, can pressure better. All of that makes his slightly less health not really matter. Ryu can be awesome once he gets in, it’s just so goddamn hard for him to do so. If they gave him a quicker super jump and an air-dash, he’d be a lot better. It’s like the developers thought his directional super hado would let him deal with everything or some shit.
