your choice phrasing made me LOL. i’d say today’s college degree is yesterday’s high school degree. so i disagree, going full retard by getting the phd is bad. there are SO MANY phd janitors out there. good luck becoming a professor with tenure. so if you DO want to go liberal arts, its better to just go to an in state public university for cheap, get a piece of cake liberal arts degree (and since those are such a walk in the park, you can start working on the side to start making that money), and graduate in 2 years or so. better yet, go to community college.
i have quite a few friends who did community college, transferred into university to finish their liberal arts degree, graduated early, and are working at good jobs. the key is not to put yourself into debt pursuing liberal arts and realize its just a piece of paper that most jobs require you to have. all that matters is that you have that piece of paper. get it as cheaply and as quickly as possible, and then gtfo.
I wasn’t aware until just now that the former Real World sexpot (San Francisco season) Jamie Chung is in Sucker Punch.
