I buy and sell yugioh cards online. I sold some a bit ago to someone in New Jersey for 500 bucks. I just got an ebay message from them asking them for a refund. I haven’t even packaged the cards yet, as I was asked by them to hold them until after the hurricane just in case some post offices close down. I refunded them, and relisted the cards. They price has fluctuated due to some ban list changes, and I’m probably only going to get 400 for them (I had originally gotten them for about 420 total). After fees, I’ll be losing money, as I’ll take in less than what I put out. It hurts that my 70 dollar profit turned into a 30 dollar loss, but if I was in their position, I’d expect the same from the seller.

African American is such a dumb term, especially because it is used to encompass all black people. American and black? African American. Jamaican and black? African American. Wat.
I understand the origins and the use of the term, but IMO people need to grasp that there’s a good chance if you spot a black person that’s not in America, they’re not African American. Then again, it’s really only Americans that do that dumb shit usually.
