It’s not that similar to CB tho…It’s not the similar to Outlaw Star either aside from being a Space Western, an River Tam=Melfina on some levels. Oh and naked Briefcase travel. I remember seein that and cryin fowl. The reveal and to some extent the lead up to it almost the exact same.
But it’s really not like Cowboy Bebop at all.

man i was wanting to play some SF the other day and still haven’t spent the money for the MS points to get 3SO, thus i decided to play HDR. who was saying anyone plays that shit on regular mode again? i sure as fuck didn’t see a single person when i was trying to play regular, even created a game and sat there for a grip w/no joins. there were 3 games at first with maybe 2-4 people playing each (rooms having caps and them being full with 2, 3, or 4 players in the 3 game max i saw) and then everyone just vanished.
shit was like that last week at some point, too, though i believe i was playing on psn at that time. made a game since the only other game was full and after a bit some fool joined, got twerked up by the hawk and gief, only to have him switch it up to akuma (lol). what saddens me is that i switched to ken randomly, as dude was using ryu iirc, then i see him having picked akuma and wish i could’ve switched back to t.hawk. fucking dude going to akuma only to lose worse.

Light doesn’t operate on such conventional level. To put things into the most basic terms, any particle that has mass, or gravitational influence on the fabric of space will increase in mass the faster it moves. So by the time it nears the speed of light the mass of said particle would approach infinity. Basically, ti would take infinite energy (which the universe doesn’t have) to propel any form of matter at or beyond the speed of light.
This has been proven from observation because even UHVs or Ultra-High Velocity particles that have been boosted by supernova explosions or particle accelerators can only approach 99.9999999999996% the speed of light, due to their being small at an atomic level.
As for light, it is a mass-less particle. So unless it is affected by a medium it will also go 186,282 miles per second no matter what.
So in simple terms:
If a particle has Mass it-
-cannot achieve the speed of light
-gains mass and needs equivalent energy to propel it to greater speeds
If a particle has No Mass it-
-automatically travels the speed of light (300,000 kilometers per second)
-only slows down if put through a certain medium
