YEAH! I was beginning to think my little rodent adversary either died of starvation or moved to another unit in the apartment… traps had been laid out for days with no sounds or sights of the little bugger… and just now, I heard the squeaks! I figured “damn, he’s BACK!” and just running around…but no, he was finally CAUGHT! The repeated squeaks were out of fear and desperation because he couldn’t get out of there! There he was right in the middle of one of the glue traps… perfect catch. This is also bit surprising since I figured they usually come out to look for food at night (along with no signs and sounds of humans walking around). The other surprising factor here is that this particular glue trap has been out since last week, so I thought surely it was worthless at this point… I was going to pick it and the other old glue traps up by later today or tomorrow. The beautiful thing here is that even if he ate the bait I added to it and somehow got out of this…he still would’ve died later since that bait was poisonous! Hahah, a trap with 2 aspects of death! Yessssss…even if you get away, you still die if you managed to eat the bait. Ohhhhh so satisfying. This has been such a wonderful way to start off a Friday. Actually, I should’ve taken a picture/video for the memories.
*Anne Curry looks gorgeous as usual this morning…definite guaranteed spot in the ranks of The Eternals™.
Seriously though. I left SRK as Mixah last year… Never heard that expression.
A year later, everybody is calling everybody "bro"
Where did it come from? Jersey Shore?
[details=Spoiler]He said he liked playing him at least. I didn’t care that bodie got offed, it’s a shame because he stifled what could’ve been a clear cut case but he killed my man Wallace, there’s not an ounce of pity for me.
R.I.P. Wallace
He coulda been the next black President or Harvard grad or sum’n.[/details]
So should I watch The Wire now? No idea who any of the characters are or who supposedly died. Although i don’t find this worse than my friend who went straight to the ending of Goodfellas. What’s fucking weird is that my girlfriend doesn’t understand why I’d be mad at people spoiling shit at random because for stuff I don’t have a lot of interest for, I don’t mind a spoiler or two to see if something interesting happened. If it’s cool enough I’ll put it on my list. Had a bunch of shit willingly spoiled to me on Supernatural and now I have to watch that show; its just filled with crazy shit.
About 2 years ago someone literally got mad at me because I said in Star Ocean 3 the big plot twist was that you are a game in the game. Really there is no way to counter that kind of idiocy, to say that game was well past spoiler alert was more then accurate.
Its not hard not to spoil shit for people. Seriously have some damn sense about the shit that you read/watch etc. Ain’t everybody rolling like you; and holding people to your viewing standards is just moronic. Unless the person asks for them, keep them to your damn self. It ain’t hard.
Now if you are walking into a discussion about particular topic, like movies, tv shows, etc. Be prepared to hear spoilers just because the works are being discussed. So just because you need to catch up with the people you are talking to doesn’t mean that you should start lowering the quality of it until you get there.
Man I’m so sick of hearing about the books/show. All my friends do is bring that shit up like I don’t have anything better to read. Its like, yo, I’m surrounded by so many books, I have some just lying on the floor waiting for a spot on one of my shelfs; I got a long reading list and there is no way to fit in GoT. But no, apparently nothing compares to game of thrones.
Since I’m not gonna do the fighting game thing anymore, I should just be stepping my reading game up. My reading speed is straight garbage; if I were to go to grad school, that would be the one thing that buries me there.
