Skullgirls? A pony AV? Goddamnit, AF.
Home theater room is about half done. Need to paint and some how hide the wires. Probably wait for fathers day to pickup a new 3d projector and screen.
any and all forms of cock-blocking should be heavily penalized. like a kick to the family jewels. while wearing a steel-toed boot.

I didnât see it until now, butâŚThatâs an asian Adamâs Family right there, hahaha.
Anyone else think that new Johnny Depp and Tim Burton movie looks cheesy as fuck?
@Sonicabid
you mean Dark Shadows, right? as i understand, they intended to to capture the âcampyâ atmosphere as the original series that it was based on. but with modern trappings and that Tim Burton trademark âgoth lookâ of course. ChloĂŤ Grace Moretz aka Hit Girl is one of the most promising new young actors i have seen so far. looking pretty good for me so far.

Oh yeah⌠if Nina Dobrev used me as her âyoga wallâ ⌠I couldnât handle that. Another gallon of a load would be shot off instantlyâŚthis would be after the initial load bust off just from her being near me in the first place⌠She continues to have a fairly cemented spot in the Magnificent 5⢠ranks.
Speaking of that Bulgarian Beauty⢠Nina D⌠they should get Katherine back into the mix on Vampire DiariesâŚjust because that situation gives you Nina x2.
Just had braces put on my bottom teeth.
Missing Person will be a higher state of irritation shortly.
You mean other Johnny Depp/Tim Burton movies arenât cheesy?
Iâve only really seen two that I thought were any good: Sleepy Hollow and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. My mom hated the latter. I was hyped up after seeing it, because at least it actually followed the book very accurately. Screw the Gene Wilder version, I hated it more than any movie I had ever seen in my life.
FF:CC Moogles > all others. I must have been one of a few dozen that played that game with 4 people. I was probably the only one who actually finished it.
Yeah I liked âCharlie and the Chocolate Factoryâ better than âWilly Wonka and the Chocolate FactoryââŚwhich is considered blasphemy in my neighborhood.
I think thatâs blasphemy pretty much everywhere.
You need a new neighborhood.
Seriously I think anyone who prefers WWATCF over CATCF never actually read the book.
Iâve read some Roald Dahl stuff since I became an adult and man, his stuff is actually pretty morbid. For children with vivid imaginations, itâs awesome, but man, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, as much as I usually hate the duo together, and hate Tim Burton movies altogether, they were the only ones that could accurately put together a film that was true to the original version. Read the book, watch Wonka, then watch Charlie, and Wonka becomes retarded.
Seriously, so much crap that was in the book was never touched by the Gene Wilder version. Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is almost as loosely based on the novel as War & Peace was loosely based on the Iliad.
I saw Tim Burtonâs rendition in the theater, in IMAX, and it was like seeing what I saw in my mind when reading the actual book, magnified by the huge screen. It was beautiful. I went with my mom to see this, and she griped about the whole thing, because she grew up on the 70s movie. Woman please, that movie was so detail-oriented toward the original novel that the artistic side of me almost orgasmed.
I had no fucking clue there was a book.
Not surprised at the same time.
What.
I donât care for the cinematography of the newer film. The way it was all put together just looked cheap. Too much CGI, not enough cool sets. Kind of like how the new Alice in Wonderland looks like a bunch of people running around on a green screen.
They definitely are, thatâs why I avoid them all like I do anime and modern rap music. My favorite Tim Burton movies are the two Batman ones, theyâre also by far my favorite Batman movies.
Haha, Dahl books are nuts (I want to say The Witches was my favorite growing up). It might be fair to describe him as a talented Tim Burton. Thatâs probably why his direction complements Dahlâs books so well.
Great glass elevator was kinda wonky, vermicious qnids and the neg zone
the Tim Burton-helmed Batman films are pretty solid in execution and presentation. the Joel Schumacher installments were just terrible. but the Christopher Nolan ones rank first for me considering they pretty much took some of the best elements/plot threads of the comic books and grounded it in a realistic, gritty setting. plus i want my own Batmobile/Tumbler. or at least the Batpod. vvvrrrooommm!!!

this one may have defeated marvel vs slamcom as the ultimate one

meh, I liked the original mostly BECAUSE it didnât follow the book exactly. The book and its paragon Charlie was lame. Making even Charlie imperfect made the story a lot more solid, IMO.
