what are you having trouble with? What team are you playing him on? It helps a lot to have a really good assist but it can be frustrating against strong zoning teams.
I play Wolvie(barrage)/Dorm(dark hole)/Akuma(tatsu) as my main team.
Short answer is call tatsu assist and then mix up with bersker slash OR instant overhead and cr. light mix up.(if it hits combo).

I’m just having trouble getting in with him in general. I’ve seen and experienced people using Drill-Claw and his dive-kick to get in but I can’t do it it seems…maybe I just need to practice more with him and get used to his mobility. My buddy just really kept me out with Taskmaster and Doom =/
I used him with Arthur(Dagger) and Sent(Drones) though that team you mentioned sounds good on paper =]
Would probably Camel Lights. Its what my best friend smoke; don’t see a need to change it.
yeah getting in against task and doom is going to be extremely frustrating, you just have to be really patient and i find abusing drill-claw and divekicks only gets you so far. Make sure you figure out Wolvies Berserker slash ranges since he’s invulnerable for a great majority of the move so it can be used if you read them doing a plasma beam or h. arrows. On a berserker slash hit you can cancel into berserker charge, dash up and get a full combo. A buddy of mine that i play really frequently plays Mags(disruptor)/Dante(weasel shot)/Wesker(samurai edge) Trying to get in on that team has made me very patient.
yeah the team that i run has very good synergy. Playing wolvie with out Akuma is hard to imagine now for me tatsu assist is truly godlike.
I used to anchor dorm but dhc synergy between wolverine and akuma is spotty if you used his assist to start your combo since you are ending with Fatal claw in the air so i swapped his spot with dorm since any fatal claw can be dhc’d to stalking flare and will hit 99% of the time and does ~900k damage.
Can you Light Berserker slash through something and then just launch into Air combo?
if it hits you have to super cancel it to do any kind of follow up unless they are still caught in assist(which is why akuma tatsu is so gdlk it’s out there forever) in which case you can do st.H launcher <insert air combo>.
If it whiffs you are too far to punish stuff since they will recover by the time you can dash up and attack.
If you watch Justin Wolv all he did was wave dash right in front of your face the 1st time and does st, L then Berserker slash. The second time he wave dashes right in front of your face pause then goes low when you expect the slash. I saw it like 1083203802 times, and I think it worked 99% of the time. I noticed he does the same thing in SSFIV AE with Yang. Just runs up to you pause and then low forward into slash.
I guess it’s a different variation of Diago walk up into your face pause then DP.
I know I wasn’t the only one that has been noticing this. I saw a a few Wolv try to do it yesterday on the WNF stream, and they fucked up the wave dash and got the slide. So they dash, then tried to dash up again and got slide then punished.

i random’d with my buddy the other day, got bionic commando, and shit myself…i MAY have to try learning to add him to my team…my point (wesker) is too fucking weak 
anywho YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i beat challenge tower in MK. Holy fuck, some of those fights are rape. And I had to use a busted ass controller and AA batteries (ahhh, good old old school Nintendo NES mash tricks) to get past the last two Test Your Mights though. And it took a LOT of beer to beat the #300 challenge
I can use Wesker “ok” I guess…I got the hang of his movement down. I just can’t do anything outside of basic shit with him. Ammy/Wesker/Phoenix =p

For the record, I knew what you were referring to before you also quoted Geohound and bolded that part. …Yet, at the same time, I can’t decided if it’s the funniest due to the sheer absurdity of the situation or the sheer hypocrisy on my part.
“Most suspenseful” or “most dramatic” or “most thrilling” probably would have worked just as well if not better; bug Gorath when he “comes in”. It’s not like “epic” causes me physical pain or anything; it’s just so overused nowadays.
Besides what ckrazy pointed out, which you should listen to since he actually uses Wolverine, Wolverine is pretty easy. You just can’t afford to be predictable (unless you’re playing online against a character who lacks anti-air–sigh, Chris). So divekick the shit out of people since it has absurd priority, but don’t do it so high in the air that they have much time to react and dash out of the way and punish you. Similarly, Berserker Slash has pretty good invulnerability towards its beginning & its end and can slip past people on the medium and hard versions, so there’s quite a bit that it will slip if you time it right. At the same time, unless you’re in X-Factor mode, don’t do it by itself from across the screen unless you want to die because it kind of loses out to pokes if it doesn’t cross people up early I’ve noticed.
That’s…really it. There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to get in if you have freaking braindead Sentinel assist.
