most of Canada. Lots of people in the States too. Not watching playoffs is retarded. Everybody knows thats when every sports gets nuts. Baseball is boring as fuck, but I’ll watch playoffs. Not watching hockey playoffs (even occasionally) is just ignorant. Just because it’s too cold for black people to go to the arena, doesn’t mean its too cold to watch it on TV if your city is in the playoffs.

I still remember when a hockey store was set up in the Mall of Memphis sometime around the late '90s. It was hilarious to me because it’s a “very black” mall in what you could categorize as an “extremely black” city. Who was the genius that came up with that idea to put a hockey store THERE of all places? I suppose the suits in that company may have been fooled by the fact that there is an ice rink in there. Still…a hockey store in THAT place? You cannot be serious with that. 
The great thing is that the mall actually got “blacker” as time went on. (*if you want to check out a “whiter” mall though… check out Oak Court if you’re ever in Memphis. It’s actually my favorite one since there is some awesome variety… you’ll see a reasonably good mix of hotness there. I prefer places that have variety in the eye candy. That’s also the reason Nashville walks all over Memphis when it comes to the issue of hotness.)
It never ascended to the same caliber of blackness as Southland though… that was THE spot for every modern, southern black stereotype you could imagine, and no… there were no white folks in attendance at Southland… never.

*this brings back some memories of the old days at the arcades for me… it’s amazing that I was never kicked out and/or banned from those places. in a perfect world, i’d have time to watch the hockey playoffs. as it stands, i only really get a chance to watch when i’m at a canadian bar.
soccer is the most boring sport ever. the biggest clue is that anybody that talks about soccer has to talk about how great the crowd is…never about the actual game.
