I’m 75% through Dead Island. My favorite part was, uh…Well, getting that legendary gun that makes the game super easy, I guess. The game is just good enough to push through, barely. Really looking forward to being done with it.
Dead Island was amazing at the beginning when you were like slapping zombies amid the wonderful islands and scenery, which was a really cool atmosphere and setup that I’d never seen in any game before. That was really fun.
And then the next three quarters of the game came and I just wanted it to be over.
And Ash gotta be around 20-something. I miss Misty, though. He didn’t even bother to tap that at all :mad:.

The game is just kind of a bummer. Not that the story is sad or anything. Just the atmosphere. It’s like, no one else on Banoi is having fun, so you don’t get to, either.
I did have a more favorable impression when I first started the game. I still like it more than BL. Eh. I’m just ready for it to be over so I can start Dishonored and hopefully have fun playing a video game again.
Man…if you’re not having fun then stop fuckin playing, the games failed at the #1 thing it has to do…be fun. Move on to Dishonored lol.

I had fun playing Dead Island. It just needed better combat, and you needed to be able to carry more ammo, as well as guns should have had more of a presence+been more threatening to enemies once you got them. Guns suck-ass in New Game+
@Vynce I liked Borderlands more than Dead Island. Dishonored was pretty good, although really short.
There’s actually a sequel to Dead Island coming out really soon, too. It’s releasing at 49.99, as well. That might entice some people to pick it up quick, personally I’m going to wait for it to hit the 20-30ish range before I nab it like I did its prequel.

Dead Island gets harder with your level. The funnest part of the game is getting crits, watching them fools go flying!
Depending on who you are (LOGAN) the end boss is easy.
I actually had him charge at me, hid in a room with the door shut, and swung through the door. hahaha.

I picked the “token black guy” and went HAM in Dead Island. Did the same in Borderlands 1, it seems that with their passive skills+skillset that they get that both of those characters in those respective games are God tier.
