It could be that you’re used to GD. We tend to be much more lax in our infractions. We usually don’t give flame baiting/trolling/language infractions unless it’s an extreme/repeat case.

Yeah outside of GD you are on your own, very PG-13 outside of this area. I wouldn’t fuck around in the MvC3 forums, they’ll jump on you for damn near any negative comment. Seems weird considering the MvC2 community but what the fuck ever.

Naw, I remembered vaguely that you were on my “watch this guy: funny but counterproductive poster” mental list, but that’s about it. I have a pretty consuming life: SRK I just check in on and try to keep FGD and UMvC3 semi-organized and semi-productive. I figure half the people posting badness in FGD are usually drunk or high or confused, and I maybe pay attention to trends but never take anything personally nor retain ill will towards anyone. Life is way too awesome to get stressed about anything online. :tup:

Another one of the many things to hate about the unemployment “world” is the goddamn calculations… I’d love to beat the shit out of the people that came up with some of those. It’s a case of people making things needlessly complicated, perhaps to justify whatever they were getting paid or to satisfy an ego, or something… every state has a different formula, apparently. This becomes such an annoying bitch to deal with when you have someone on the phone or who have filed online that have worked in 86,000 states within one year (*this is usually a white guy, just throwing a random observation of race and stereotype in there)…so now you have to sit there calculating all possible filing options for this person, and it’s never some simple, “figure this up within 4 seconds in your mind” shit…nah, it’s some crap like this (*not an actual formula, but something similar to illustrate how much it will make you want to punch some self-important math-geek that created it as hard as possible in the throat):
“Take one half of the amount shown in the quarter with the highest earnings, now multiply that by 1.5…then add 46 and divide by 2 again, look up the chart to see the weekly amount…round it down by 1, but this cannot be over the maximum weekly amount… in order to be eligible on Calculation #1, the person must also have at least 850.00 outside the highest quarter. If ineligible, refer to Calculation #2, in which 1 half of the high quarter amount must be multiplied by the square root of the average weekly wage, which is determined each year by the department, and the average of the 2 high quarters must be greater than or equal to the lesser of 9 times the weekly amount or 950.01. Then again, it’s not just that particular group… most people in general are shit. That’s just a basic truth you find out quickly in life. The less you have to deal with the general public in life, the better off you are.
