No it’s been confirmed by the US that it’s their drone. US reason for it happening was fucking hilarious, they basically said CIA were in neighbouring country when they lost control of the drone and it veered into Iran

how has the US story changed? i read about this several days ago and the story has remained pretty much the same. the CIA lost contact with the drone and it landed in iran. the only question is whether or not it’s primary mission was in iran or just near the afghani border. the idea that iran disrupted the satellite transmission seems pretty unlikely but possible…the idea that they disrupted the transmission AND decrypted enough of the signal to figure out how to pilot the drone is pretty ridiculous.
