My conscious is telling me I’m becoming a shittier person by educating myself on how the larger world works and how social interactions are actually orchestrated. But my logical side is telling me to stop being a pussy and being taken advantage of.

I’ve now begun to seriously look at how when someone asks me to do something for them (because they mistake my niceness for doormat syndrome, which, if I’m being honest with myself it was) how do I either

A) Make them pay
B ) How can I turn this around to also benefit me (What I did today by getting free food)
C) Be nice because I fucking feel like it in that moment (Which has the added benefit of generating good will)

I know you guys don’t care, but it helps me center myself and really soak in these epiphanies/implications when I write out my thought process.

I’m trying to internalize it so it all becomes natural. Practice makes perfect.

I’m actually reading this book on how to train my full attention on someone (The times I have done this I’ve made lifelong friends, simply because I do find them that interesting) and become charismatic. Well, more of a Focused charismatic (thus the paying full attention to someone at all times) rather than Authoritative.

As far as writing a book goes. I’ve started many times, faltered, and then tried to rewrite only to abandon it. Every now and then I daydream about writing a book at work, get home…and then not do shit towards writing that book and play video games. Right now I’m educating myself (have been for the past 3-4 days), and until I’m done reconciling my new worldview/philosophy, I’m not in any shape to write as it is.
