They’re made at least three heavily CGI Alvin & the Chipmunk movies, two Smurf movies, and are set to release an Angry Birds movie later this year. You’re really surprised that with all the (horrible) adaptations that Hollywood has been churning out they couldn’t set their sights even lower?
Personally, I’m offended that we’ve still not yet been graced by a Minesweeper or Solitaire movie.
(Who knows though? It could turn out to be genuinely good like how The Lego Movie apparently was–not that I’m holding my breath.)
sheeeit, one day there will be someone in Hollywood that has that vision…
“OREGON TRAIL: THE MOVIE” Followed later that summer by Number Munchers, rated PG-13. Then…
CONNECT 4: THE MOVIE.
Water on the knee? Thousand dollar fee! “OPERATION: THE MOVIE.”
Then–The Incredible Adventures of The Facebook Like Button."
sidenote—I’ve noticed they don’t use that phrase “the motion picture” anymore (e.g.–Hamburger: The Motion Picture was a real movie back in the day); I guess that’s “old-hat” (which is also a term that isn’t really used anymore)
^ Nigga, dat Agave & aloe tea! Tastes like literal shit (and as an ass eater, I should know! hur hur hur) but the health benefits are off the chart. My stamina levels are fucking crazy. Erections are steel-laden and last longer than one of jimmy1200’s post-rants.
The fucked up part about that is the only reason 99% of it’s fan base even know about it in the first place is because of the unlicensed subs that came out from Kaizokou back in the day. Media companies have no fucking clue what their fans want.
Well… why aren’t they hiring the fan translation team to do their subs for them and releasing them to the US market instead of doing the fucked up 4Kids TV edits that they released that completely ruined the show?
If they know what we want, they certainly aren’t showing it.
