It’s amazing what money and status can allow one to do and get away with. My motha always try to tell me “Money isn’t really important” " Just live a modest life, don’t go all around the country just for jobs" “We are living in the last days etc”. But stories like this always remind me that money, power, and status plays a big role in life. And until that day comes where Jehovah decides to get off his ass and bring on the end of days, and bring on the rapture or whateva. Yeah 9/10 times that seems to be the case. And I wouldn’t necessarily say they are miserable.
