I didn’t say it was THE reason you do it. I said it was A reason. It may be more of a subconscious reason, but still a reason. THE reason may be because you want to help someone, A reason is because you desire to help someone and you fulfilled it. Both the selfless and selfish portions are handled there.
Yea but i still think its selfless which was the point. You getting something out of it is a side outcome of performing the selfless act is somewhat irrelevant to the actual point overall which was was that selflessness exists.
