I fucking hate Adam Sandler now. He went away from the shit he used to do to be funny (Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison), and is slowly degenerating into stereotypical jewish comedy. Just call yourself Adam Seinfeld and be done with it. Where is the funny ass shit that made up Stan and Judy’s Kid??? That new movie, like EVERY FUCKING MOVIE made by once great comedians (such as Jim Carrey) is a train wreck full of abortions.

One of my best friends has the ENTIRE movie of Tremors memorized, line for line. It’s fucking hilarious seeing him act the full thing out. I’ll have to youtube that shit someday. I still await a Tremors game, and a decent well budgeted sequel. It’s still the number two Kevin Bacon movie though. I shouldn’t even need to remind you what #1 is:

The first four albums were solid. And Justice… is my particular favourite. But anything after that just sounds like watered down shit to me, fuck this Lou Reed shit.
This is not a surprising comment. It is indicative of the comedy these two do. Tosh appeals to the masses, Hicks appeals to comedy nerds. Tosh’s comedy is textbook lowest common denominator comedy. It’s commercial comedy. It’s simple and it appeals to the widest possible audience. He’s not doing anything groundbreaking and his shit will be forgotten five years from now. Look at a basic Tosh “I love being white” jokes. Yeah, it’s true and funny, but it’s basically a dumbed down version of Louis CK’s comedy. The fact that Louis CK is just now becoming popular after 20+ years in the business is quite telling of the general comedy knowledge of your average person.
In the end, Bill Hicks will always be remembered as one of the most brilliant commentators of society while Tosh is just gonna be another funny guy that no one cares about in a few years. I’m not bashing Tosh, he has some funny jokes, but he’s not even comparable to Hicks.
