I worked 10-10 last night, 10-8 tonight, and I’ll be working 10-10 tomorrow. Brother, they don’t make enough Steel Reserve.
@regulate If this was all the time I’d been given, I’d be satisfied with my laurels. But I’ve got more things in life to accomplish. I want to become a father, and be a good one. And I’ve got a ways to go before I’m actualized as a person. I’ve made huge strides in 29 years. Time goes on, and I notice more room for improvement. I think that’s important.
But of course, there will be Christmas. And I’m very much looking forward to it. I explained to these young people I work with:
“You’re at that age when Christmas has mostly lost its luster. Good news: when you find the one, or a the one, it gets to be really great again. Now you have this person to share Christmas with, and there’s all this romance. After a while, Christmas may lose its spark again. That’s when you know, it’s time to have kids. And bam- awesome Christmas. Until your kids grow up, then I imagine it sucks again. Enter, grandkids. Christmas is like a renewable resource. I love Christmas.”

I actually want to see more of it. Very entertaining game thus far.
I also have been thinking about not becoming a game designer and instead either become a war correspondent, journalist, or intelligence officer (apparently a spy). I like to write, I’m rather inquisitive, nosy, and enjoy working with computers. However, being a spy in a realistic manner doesn’t sound too exciting, obviously.
I’ve always wondered how you would get into a profession like that. It seems like something that only happens in movies and games, but there has to be some truth to that kind of stuff. Seems like it would be interesting, to say the least.
Just beat Deus Ex: HR on my PS3, time to see what I got left on my backlog. I have the final day in Dead Rising 2: OTR to do, I barely touched Just Cause 2 and I beat the first couple of levels in Neverdead. Not sure what I want to go HAM in next, those are only a few of the games I have a backlog of off the top of my head, I have more. I might just say fuck all that and play on my PC.
How so? Just looked her up. I write down my thoughts, but they never were negative things. However, I can see myself observing others and jotting down notes or something.

Edit: Oh yeah, they put out a Contra game that wasn’t even developed by them. Contra 4 > Hard Corps. Editz: Contra 4 wasn’t developed by Konami either, but I liked it a lot more.
Play a game first before shitting on it. The gameplay is good. No amount of reviews read/videos watched will give you a real opinion on a game until you play it yourself. Also, Demon’s Souls > Dark Souls. Play Demon’s Souls!
