People need to accept that MvC2 was a game with small viability and amazing depth to it. What made it amazing was that it was similar to Starcraft: technically only a few matchups but boy if those matchups weren’t intense, required a shitload of skill to play and made for an amazing amount of different situations. So while people want to bitch about the characters actually used in MvC2, those that played it never really defend the game for all the things it did well. Oh well, MvC2 is probably going to stay the most misunderstood fighter of all time since people are never going to concede that the game with those god tier characters probably made for a better competitive environment than the rest of the cast put together.

High level MvC2 matches were some of the best shit to watch for me, as someone who couldn’t really pull all of that off but understood some of the depth and hype it was really just an enjoyable spectacle. MvC2 and CvS2 EVO tournaments were the shit.
Dat Wong Cyclops comeback was a personal favorite for me, being a fan of Cyke that shit had me out of my seat. Also Captain Commando assist trolling still brings the lulz “Oh you are trying to mount an offense, Cap! Yeah get the fuck back bitch.”

For all intensive purposes, they need to either flat out ban off topic discussion or ideas, or understand that people are going to disagree, and 3 month bans for thinking a specific capcom game is shit (regardless of how wrong that person is), doesn’t warrant a long ass ban. and for the record, I could care less if dinosaurs wanna still hype MvC2 just because they had fuck all to play besides that, and had a blast playing it. Sure, I loved the fuck out of it. Is it better than UMvC3? Probably. I liked a lot of the characters more. I don’t give a fuck if they ‘dumbed down’ the controls or any shit. Get off your high horse. Ultimate vs MvC2 is a close tie, and I could give a shit less what others think. I go play MvC2 and 99% chance I am fighting either Mags, Storm, or Sentinel. Might see a few other swaps, but thats about it. UMvC3 sure I see a lot of the same guys (Virgil, Dante, Zero, Wesker), but I still see some good variety. Then I get to have H&H matches (even though nobody plays).
As for SFIV, gtfo. SFIII was a good game, but to say IV is complete shit is just so wrong. I’d say they’re both close. SFIV may not be as technical, but it still has a LOT to offer, keeps my ass entertained, and looks great. And has no fucking parry. I’d jack off in the eyes of any mother fucker who thinks those games are different enough to warrant calling either one shit compared to the other. A disappointment or a letdown or what have you? Sure. But to say its a compelte waste of everything and you hate every last part of it just proves to me you get your ass kicked far too often online, and need to grow a pair.
Fixed. Try going into the UMVC3 tier thread and say Viper isn’t top-tier
