Well, the eye isn’t gone. It’s still there… it’s just useless.
As for what happened, a customer said something that made me lose focus on what I was doing, and hot solder got flicked into my eye. I gradually lost sight over the next month, eventually going dark (like a light had been switched off). It’s slowly coming back, and right now I can recognize light and basic colors, it just hurts to do so. As my neurologist put it the other day, the last time he tried to check my vision, I “nearly backflipped through the window.”
So I’m thinking of selling my league account. I don’t have time to play it anymore right now and playing it or any other game these days that take hours (It’s never just one game) is a couple hours of gaming that could have gone to KOF 13 or towards art. Or play it, get angry because my team blows and then it was a waste of time. If I want to ‘play’ a badass character I can take the time and make one and increase my skill in doing so.
If I want to ‘play’ a single player game I’m going to try and start watching ‘lets play’ shit on youtube or streamed so I can still experience the story of the game without having to spend hours playing it. I need to take this time to go hard on the art game. Especially after seeing the concept art for the new Dota 2 heroes I feel super inspired. My life needs to focus on art, I need to read more too. I can play games after I make it in the industry.
I want to try and make as much off my account as I can but I have no idea where to sell it at.

so i guess marvel is going after artists who draw their characters at comic conventions…how weird. from a legal standpoint their allowed to do this…but its literally decades that they’ve been allowed to do this. heil za mouse
