Yeah they do. Blizzard (Activision) has been dumbing down their franchise since Blizzard North got dropped.

All I needed from D2 was the ability to respec characters. I know there’s a patch for it now but at this point, all the messing around I wanted to do doesn’t interest me anymore. Its not that I don’t want to put in work on my characters. But spending 20 hours leveling something to see if it would work killed a lot of my hype for D2.
Oh I misunderstood the “customization” part. I was thinking more visual character creation.

But I do understand the reasoning for the skill tree removal, but the stat point removal and weapon swapping removal is to make it accessible for all the simpletons in WoW.
D3 is cool. If I decide to get it I’ll play the Witch Doctor. I only tried the Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter.

And the specs for D3 are actually KINDA high. Nothing crazy like people who wanted to play Skyrim on full specs could play, but will still need a decent setup. You sure as fuck ain’t taking a D2 PC or a Quake 3 PC or a Warcraft 3 PC and playing D3.

I never played those comic card games cuz man those guys are just weird & smelly…We have our fighting gatherings at our local card shop every Thursday, we’re glad that we were able to move the setup away from those foul stench 2nd class humans. I swear my nostril would burn everytime i have to walk by them…Shit is probably worse then 2nd hand smoking…
As for Board games, i will never play Risk ever again w/ friends or family. I lost a friend over it when i was 8 years old…As for Monopoly, it really shows the true colors of people when you play them.
My favorite board game is probably Scrabble & Stratego…
Thing is, I’ve been waiting for D3 ever since they announced it, in - what, 07? - in order to kill off Hellgate.

i never got into monopoly it was just boring to me. i love settlers of catan because you have the fun negotiating/trading aspect of monopoly but its way more fast paced. you’re not spending forever running around the board trying to buy your properties. there is a deceptively simple yet deep strategical aspect with initial settlement placement, expansion placement (cutting off your opponents expansions), whether to build or buy development cards, when to play your development cards, and so on. the brilliant anti hoarding mechanic of discard half your cards anytime a 7 is rolled (the # with the highest probability of being rolled on two six siders) also makes it so that you have to decide between whether or not you want to risk hoarding, or just spend when you can, and figure out which resources you really want in your hand.

Heh, i give girls a lot more chances than that, but they PAY for those chances, whether they realize it or not. And I dunno how long I can wait for this either. I mean, it will drop and I will cave inevitably, but it really seems like they’re trying to just max out their money from WoW first. And the more I wait, the more games will get announced that I will also want to get. And the later half of the year gets UGLY for buying games, what with the inevitable CoD game, NHL/Madden/Fifa, and all the holiday releases.
HAH. I would kill myself if I had to play this game with 1 gig of ram, an on board video card, and less than a 3GHZ processor.
