anywho, to continue this MvC discussion, from some of you better guys, what are some characters/teams that don’t require a lot of execution knowledge, or fucktarded combos that will destroy my fingers/mind? I’d love to pick up a nice easy to use team, with easy OTGs, easy big hitting combos, and high damage. I know this seems like I am asking a lot, but I also realize I am biting off more than I can chew when picking guys like Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom.

And any characters that are pad friendly (still dont have a stick), would be best

Double snapped his Sentinel in the beginning of the match. Double snapped after he tried a wakeup mixup on my already standing Magneto with Storm/Mag assist. Killed his Magneto right there. His Storm comes and and keeps trying to random hail me, and I was trolling him to not let him get a free hit. 1-rep of the Rom out of hailstorrm, back dash dash up jab, back dash… he kept going for random hails… I dashed up after like 4 or 5 attempts called psylocke and taunted him. He rage quits and sends me that gem.

He had ample time to get his Storm out of there and run his ass away from me. A smart Storm could have gotten rid of both Magneto and Psylocke and force me into a slug match, Storm vs. Storm.

IDK… In Marvel 2, I don’t fuck around with people that pick top tiers. I go all out, no matter what. I’ll go a little easier if you pick low tiers, but I see MSS, and I’m going to rush you the fuck down.

My Vanilla “main” team of Wolverine/Dormmamu/Sentinel. I have not played UMVC3 in a while though so I have not been able to try out any of my “new” teams yet.

my friend had a 6 button sf4 pad he won from some random gamestop tourney i used one night drunk. cable is dpadable, sent is if you can’t do fast fly in the first place (all you need is rocket punch XX HSF, s.hp > RP > HSF, etc.), and then any AA. capcom or clops work.

edit: haha i was thinking soviet was talking about mvc2 (since i didn’t read much beyond pad friendly). most mvc3 characters are playable on pad, shit son you just need to be able to hit 4 buttons in succession.

Anything Noel Brown plays. Wolverine/Wesker/X is still really good. Just pick that and have fun.

Speaking of movie adaptations of book, I just saw the 1984 movie with John Hurt…That was a fucking awful movie. The acting was very good, the set and the music were amazing. The book just doesn’t make a good movie because there was way too much that wasn’t explained about the world or only makes sense if you’ve read the book.

Yeah, it’s an easy read too. I’m a slow reader and putting back like 4 chapters in an hour. Each of the 3 books is 27 chapters, split into 3 parts of 9 chapters, much like a play.
