i’m starting to play the most recent guilty gear on ps2 (imported, forgot version… accent core maybe?) and i haven’t played in so long i’m rusty as fuck. i need to like completely relearn the game since i forgot what moves i can FRC with most of the cast, beyond sol’s projectile flame and i think potemkin’s dp command grab. also been playing more hokuto no ken since i recently completed history mode and unlocked ken’oh sama.
btw, anyone happen to know the differences between him and raoh in the console version?
I look at what happened with characters like Zero, Viper, Wesker, and Akuma, where they were given tools MUCH better than other characters, and then revamped with Ultimate, rather than nerfed.

edit: lol, marvel 4 having 8-bit MM. before the match starts you have to navigate quick man’s laser array followed by the cement block throwing section from mega man 9. then when you get to the match you’re greeted by mvc2 sent at the clown stage. only sent has perma unfly.
It can get even more simple. Just continuously Wavedash back and C.FP across the screen and you already own 70% of the cast.
Like I said, mobility was the #.1 priority in Marvel.
In mvc3 they pseudo-solved this problem by making the aspect ratio of the screen small as shit while making the characters relatively large.
Not to mention giving a huge lot of the cast borderline lagless teleports or dash-like moves/normals. Seeing Sent fly in that game is laughable because it looks so forced when the screen can barely fit him.
c’mon bigworm, all of us played fighters pretty seriously regardless of how long ago it may have been. honestly if they did release a marvel 2 (super/2.5/whatever) all i would ask for would be nightcrawler, beta ray bill, and mother fucking NAMOR.
capcom could add blanka and some red earth/vampire characters, too. that would be nice.

just fucking hilarious really. another one of my favorite things to do is when someone starts akuma, start sent (maybe put cable and clops behind him), and just fish for the s.hk launcher. gaaaaaame over /botz master
edit: or pick bb hood, sakura, and sent drones. hood’s lockdown with missle and mines is mad fun and builds meter for my dark sakura. my entire game play with her involves drone backup while i teleport behind you and mash her choke throw, ending the match with her raging demon.
I used to love doing that with Capcom AAA, just the opponent’s look of horror at seeing chunks of health disappear in a flash was quite enjoyable. :badboy:
I’m looking for a new car still. Something around the 12k and under range, preferably something with a big trunk/fold down seats. I make a lot of trips to UPS. I also need something that does well in the snow, so FWD, or AWD is a plus. I’m currently browsing through this to see what I can come up with.
My current car is a 2011 Lancer ES, and despite its outrageous gas mileage, its a turd. Slow. Boring. Cant put a new CD player in it, or GPS. I’m over it. For what I pay I can get a lot more car.
