my janeway hate may be more cause of the show itself. it eventually turned laughable when you could predict 3 out of the last 4 finale’s were gonna involve the borg. it just got stupid and the borg became a plot device.
… I feel like I was somehow being set up for that.
But I thought the whole point of the show was its interactions with the Borg? I mean, they had a friggin’ Borg crewmate… 
so I was looking up Total Recall on imdb after watching it last night and apparently the remake just so happens to be due out this year, starring colin farrell as arnies character… out of all the actors they couldve chosen why colin farrell?
when ratings were low…bam! borg plot. it was a far far more interesting show when 7of9 wasnt on. borg wasnt the whole point of the show originally but it eventually took a huge fuckin chunk of the creative juices apparently…they phoned in alot of those borg plots.
I loved Janeway as well but there is no denying that series kinda dug a rut by the end of it, and she was getting progressively crazier.
