Well, it finally happened… I killed my first Phoenix today right as she was going into Dark Phoenix mode. That guy must’ve been pissed off or at least incredibly annoyed. Who else of course but the cheapass Comeback-Machine himself… the glorious Sentinel. I thought it was OVER, since it was just my Sentinel vs. a lone Phoenix who had 5 bars! I’ve seen the videos of just how insane Dark Phoenix is, so even with Sentinel…things looked bleak for me here. Laser spit one last time and there it was: “I CAN’T CONTROL IT…” I immediately followed up with Hyper Sentinel Force and BAM got that ass. Dark Phoenix was shut down before she could get the madness started… goddamn that was an awesomely tense moment.
Sheeeit, fuck the hate, I love this game… even when I’m losing or just barely getting by like that.
