(Weird that I still find owtyhJPZ5yg&feature=related]this *Resident Evil 5[/i video so amusing, especially since I probably have even less interesting in Resident Evil 5 now than I did when I originally watched it.)
Lol at Archer tonight. Both hilarious and depressing. Nice to see that Woodhouse isn’t a push-over like he normally appears, even if he had to lead such a horrible life.
Meh, everyone is Shuma’s bitch outside of maybe Galactus and Phoenix. Dormammu just knows what’s up.
I have to say that I find it funny that only other person that supposedly has a special intro with Shuma is Hsien-Ko of all people and it’s just like generic tentacle-rape implications. You’d think Morrigan would be the one implying that…
Yes. Your standards for being a badass are pretty fucking low, unsurprisingly.
Destroying your liver and acting like an asshole does not equal badass, especially since it’s so fucking easy to do.
Believe me, I’ve heard of his drug-filled escapades, from before he married Denise Richards through his recent marriage and divorce. He’s been a drug-fueled, woman-beating wreck for a long while. But it’s just this episode, where he’s allowed himself to become this self-absorbed. He’s the star of a top-rated TV show, making mad bank, yet is willing to not only fuck it up for himself, but for everyone else who’s involved with it without care. That’s the thing about it that gets me.
I hear where you’re coming from but…he’s just some fucking cokehead. I heard him rambling about how cocaine is OK if you can smoke it “socially” as he can, and now reading about him saying that he can heal himself with his mind and how other people can’t mentally conceive of his whatevers… It’s just some cokehead, rambling. In that context, it’s hard to be particularly outraged.
Inevitably the wheels have started to come off the wagon, but I never really expected him to be much more. My biggest gripe is that I don’t think 2 and a Half Men is funny.
He has to give a shit. I don’t think he does. And given the amount of FU money he has, I doubt anyone has any real leverage over him, to make him confront himself.
That’s what I wanted to comment. No way was it first. First that wasn’t raided off the bat by the police maybe. Just a nerdier beer joint is all.
When I first read it I interpret it as you were pondering why he doesn’t give a shit when normal/rational human would have to in this situation. Kind of like the “he has to, he just has to” type of deal.
Unfortunately, it’s been that way ever since console Vanilla SF4 two years ago.
Edit- Az, I used your old blog entry to help a kid I was teaching Asian/European history to. Yeah, I’m going to be a chem/science/other misc subjects teacher and tutor for a year at least. New job…
(Ugh, seriously? If I just husk off the uppermost, thinnest, all dead layer of my skin right now, that would be terrific.)
Is there really a point to posting one-liners just to link to scrubby shit like that? (And lol at the article doing nothing but either enraging people or masturbating them, making MvC3 even more divisive.)
I still need to watch this.
I also still need to finish Marble Hornets among many, many other things. Sigh.
That Wikia page 4neqs linked to 100 posts back. (Warning: Apparently this page uses Java or something, so it slowed my computer down for a few minutes when I tried to open it the first time.)
Those “Alien-lookalikes” are the Brood…who I don’t think ever actually appeared in the cartoon.
As for Cable, he’s one of the more accurate things that intro and given that he’s arguably the most important non-regular character, he fits.
watches Beast create a fissure in the ground over and over again
man that intro never get’s old…but it would be the results of a “what I watched, What I expected, What I got” setup…and what you get is nothing like what was in the intro…
