Huh. I decide to “go to sleep” only to resume existence a bit less than five hours later, which is fine with me since that’s all I actually need, and wake up to someone apparently crying loudly enough in the shared hallway of the building that I can hear it back in my room if I have the door open even though said crying isn’t particularly loud or dramatic. It just seems like a somewhat genuine despair or something, so I wouldn’t be surprised if someone or their pet died; they might just being crying over a break-up or some shit though knowing people.
Not that I particularly care, but it’s good to note I guess. At the very least, there’s no sense in going outright now if I have the potential of making it worse (without intentionally intending to do so). Getting caught up in other people’s bullshit never leads to anything good.

Oops. My brother’s roommate has all those pictures up not my brother. I can see how that wasn’t clear at all though, hopefully the edit clears that up.
Don’t get me wrong… my brother is about as strange as you would expect from a kid that grew up not really being into sports, reading young adult fantasy and playing video games but he’s still mostly normal compared to all of his friends (though that’s not saying much he had some freakshow friends growing up). He’s just antisocial. Might be bringing him out to hang with my group of friends tonight, which will be a bit of an adventure since I hang out with a bunch of boozers and he’s teetotaler (but likes me well enough to hangout with so he should be fine).
(btw yes younger brother. I haven’t talked much about family here I don’t think)
