I did you! I said i didnt like it the first time then second time i watched it I got into it! If i didn’t like it I wouldnt have gone on to watch the next 6 seasons. All im saying is it takes a second watch to get used to the format of the show. Thats how it happened with me and like 3 of my other friends. But they didnt watch with friends just gave it another try…
I watched archer for the first time with my JW friends at the time that (unknown to me) I was undergoing Cog. Dis. and just really fed up with asinine “friends” with no goals or ambition. Archer felt low-brow and pandering at the time because I was really salty for irrelevant reasons. When I went back and watched it on my own, after all that had passed for the most part, I totally loved it. In fact, Placebo Effect is one of my favorite episodes of all time, regardless of show.
(Can we stop with quoting videos on this page [or in general]? Jesus Secular Christ.)
All of this Archer talk just reminds me that I actually got several people into the show who normally don’t watch animation at all, but that I haven’t seen anything beyond Season 2 (I think) myself because I don’t really watch TV anymore. It’s strange.
I can understand that. I don’t find it riotously funny or anything, but it’s consistently amusing enough for me to enjoy it, especially since it’s not like Mystery Science Theater 3000 exists anymore unfortunately. (And, yes, I saw there’s apparently a Kickstarter or something to revive it…with Felicia Day on board apparently. I’m really conflicted [and broke] even though I’m more apathetic to Felicia Day than anything.)
Yes, because tabloids are super reliable, especially when it comes to tracking vectors of diseases. The CDC could learn from them.
Granted, I won’t be surprised if or more likely when we find out that he gave HIV to someone else who can reliably show they didn’t have it beforehand and couldn’t have gotten it any other way, but until then, I’m going to continue to not ever believe anything a tabloid ever says unless I have extremely good reason to do so.
I’d ask how “the most qualified person should get the job” is offensive, but that would imply that I’m expecting these type of people to actually use logic or reason.
So all I’m going to say that despite still being currently jobless, I’m really glad I never wanted to get into teaching.
As a crimson person, I dislike “white” because I will always be categorized with non-Crimson Caucasians without regard for the oppression I face as a legitimate minority.
