SRK Lounge: Ronin was here

our nation is a sham… :murica:

You guys are dumb. Put a megaphone up to that eagle’s beak and watch the enemies of America beg for nails on chalkboards instead.

(It doesn’t, hence why “they” have been attacking “us” for a while now.)

Clearly, we need a new, different national bird, particularly the one at 2:20:

We spend more than enough on the military to effectively have five levels of bar all year round. Bring it.

How do you define minority? Because from where I sit, 10% is still a minority.

What is the likelihood of being bitched out for questioning the All Lives Matter campaign while expressing that though I understand why others find Black Lives Matter to be cavalier towards issues other racial and religious group face, I at times find the former to be nothing but a cry for inclusion that’s hidden behind a fraudulent belief in equality?

Or shall I just not bite into the racial issue sandwich at all?

It’s not 1% like people are saying.

Yeah, but it’s still a minority. I’m just attacking the clarity of your post, not the content, because you look pretty dumb when you say shit like that.

Well fine. 55% of muslims families would kill their child if they found out the child was an apostate.

And when you throw out statistics without relevant research to back them up, you look like the kooks out there who say Obama is coming for their guns or a communist.

Just sayin’.

On the real though, Raz0r, watch this.

From a muslim to a humanist who works as a head of Ex-Muslims of NA.
She would have more knowledge on the subject than both of us.

(Hmmm…how does one define minority percentage-wise?)

Strictly speaking, it’s anything less than exactly half of what you’re talking, which is…all that not helpful even in dichotomies honestly. Hmm…I wonder if there’s been any studies into this. Something to look into later today.

It depends on whom you’re planning on talking to, really, though I imagine you’re likely to get “bitched out” at regardless unless you’re maybe talking to another black person. Even then it’s not guaranteed you won’t since some black people, such as myself, see Black Lives Matter as misguided or myopic or having other issues. It’s probably best just not to bring up it, honestly, unless you absolutely have to since it’s not like this is a racial issue that involves someone being actively oppressed or threatened.

So let people have their “All Lives Matters”, even though it’s even more dumb than “Black Lives Matter”. Shit’s not going to change either way if the majority never admit or can’t even see how abusive some cops can be instead of taking it as an all or nothing sort of denial that people are so good at, which is part of what makes “Black Lives Matter” ultimately pointless.

Like RockBogart asked, would this be face-to-face too, @Dramatix? Would it be to a co-worker? If so, then just ignore that person unless the person won’t let it drop.

Nothing that cant be solved with some good ol american freedom :murica:

Nah, social media/Facebook so in reality it’s not that big of a deal or that severe of a situation. I just wanted to express my opinion of what’s going on. I had a conversation about this and my friend was like, “’'Kay, but all lives do matter.”.

That’s an opinion of one person, and that’s fine. But I won’t go out there condemning an entire religion if people are okay with practicing it.

Which people are ok with it? The ones practicing it? No shit.

So then why should I go out there and attack it or denounce it? Yeah, I don’t like it and I can criticize it. However, if men and women are fine practicing it then why should I go out there trying to stamp it down?

Define “practicing”. You mean going to church and praying or blowing people up kind of “practicing”?

I’m not really an advocate of BLM myself (not that I’m against it), but at first it struck me as bringing attention to issues with police brutality concerning black people, so I’m like, “Okay cool”. Now seeing posts that are horrendously cavalier during the terrorist attacks in Paris from members of BLM, that’s not a good look.

If anything, what makes my eyes roll are “I don’t see race, I only see the human race”, not because I feel it’s disregarding racial issues, but because you really can’t deny that everyone’s different and that they share the background. That’s kinda one of the beauties of life.

there’s enough radicals in Islam that it’s a real problem.

French, and Belgian governments have on record talked about the issues of radicalization of immigrants that failed to integrate, and the growing trend of radicalization within communities. These are sovereign states with a very liberal attitudes, talking about the issue and trying to find solutions to a real problem.

But you know,

NOT ALL MUSLMIS ARE LIKE THAT!!!

Libraries, the true enemy of black lives.
