(You’re telling me people don’t already identify as gas? Clearly, “otherkin” need to step their game up. Come on Sonicfox and company.)
All this talk about the English language and the weird gender-neutral pronouns that aren’t actually gender-neutral in a lot cases just reminds me that I never finished some science fiction book I think I still have where I think “xe” or “ze” came up but for actually legitimate reasons since it was a bad future where the poor and Earth itself as a whole were so fucked over that most of society was essentially destroyed. I should really look for it while I’m thinking about it…
Pfft. Who said anything about blowing things up? That requires actual effort.
Meanwhile, it takes literally no effect to lie on your back and starfish for Muhammad. Just close your eyes and think of Allah and his apparently never-bending penis.
I like English. Its a great language for all sorts of things. It is a bitch to learn because the UK was a fuccboi territory that took it balls deep from every other language group in the area. I’d just prefer it if people didn’t pretend this was so. Its hodge podge pig shit; I enjoy but still hodge podge.
Waitaminute, Sonicfox said he was otherkin? FFS. I can understand skullgirls getting bopped by a furry, but how is the MK community gonna hold that shit? All these full with their mature game gonna lose to a 17 year old with a tail?
Chink and gook always cracked me up, because they’re the dumbest most basic fucking caveman words white people have invented. Don’t even sound like insults, just random grunts.
I hope your lack of an actual body gets better, Joshkaz, I mean, “Kang”. You should have said something sooner. We could have pitched in to remedy that.
To be serious for a moment, since I don’t want to spread rumors or misunderstandings, I don’t actually know. I don’t really go out of my way to find out things about living people unless I think I have to.
That said, I was under the impression that identifying as a furry was essentially the same thing as identifying as “otherkin” even if not all “otherkin” are furries. I’m sure I could clear this up myself, but looking into these things is a case of “I don’t really want to know”.
I knew that was a obscure reference. Pretty much only for NickRocks and WTF-AKUMA-HAX
The guy in the gif’s name is Jung-Ho Kang, Pittsburgh Pirates’s short stop who just came over to the mlb from South Korea’s league, and he had his knee ran into and his season ended:
Don’t otherkin actually believe that they are said animals trapped in human bodies or something like that? I think furries are just fans of them to an unhealthy extent.
Furries have subsections to them. Otherkin are a small group within furries who believe that they are the animals the claim internally and sometimes spiritually. General fandom members don’t make claims of being the actual animals; the choice of animal is usually whichever animal they like.
Man, there is something really hot about Olivia Munn wearing glasses and speaking Japanese. British waifu is still lip biting waifu.
(I’m actually pretty indifferent to the whole gamut of weird labels people use for themselves.)
I just find it rather sad and amusing that often the people who make claims about labels being oppressive the most tend to also be the same type of people who are most likely to use some esoteric label like “two-spirited” that almost no one else will ever use, much less take seriously. You can definitely know yourself (or at least think you do) without putting some rigid, nonsensical tag on yourself that’s just going to make people laugh at you at best.
Ah, okay. Good to know on both points.
How long did it take that guy’s knee to recover? It certainly look like it got screwed up quite good without being one of those horror-show-esque “limb bends all the way in the other direction” type of things.
He’s still recovering. It only happened about a month and a half ago. He probably wont be back for opening day, in April, hopefully he will be able to play May or June.
