We spend so much on defense we really should scale back and reallocate the money. It’s enough, but we could do better, implement a VAT tax anyway, and put THAT money into actually secure retirement and making state colleges free.

Yea. The ACA fell flat on its face and fucked over a ton of people. Free Health care is what should have happened, and not forced health care that costs an arm and a leg, and you get punished if you can’t afford it. They really did a grand job there. Hopefully the next guy in office just abolishes it and either goes back to the way it was (I hate spending money on shit I don’t use,) or fights for free Health care.
Can’t abolish it. Best you can hope for is traditional Americanism kicks in, and bit by bit, over the next few decades, you clowns will just keep tweaking with the ACA until it kinda works a little better.

Just had my 2nd shit of the morning, and I was reading a really good discussion.
Women were discussing the letter that Jennifer Lawrence penned, about how female stars make less than male stars. Ignoring the fact that some actors/actresses are stars of a movie, and some aren’t, and some have different drawing power or other roles offering them more money, and all the other things that can affect a person’s worth.
Bradley Cooper’s response to all this was "Well before I accept a movie role, I will try to help my female costars get somewhat equal pay too."
Jeremy Renner’s response was “Not my fucking job. My agent does all the negotiating, I just sign a contract and take on a role, it’s not my job to negotiate other people’s salaries.” which is correct.
But of course the feminist’s had to come in, but surprise surprise, I actually liked their discussion.

Insurance companies are more mad they are forced to use the money people pay into it to take care of sick people. So much has been stated. Their biggest fears with the mandatory 50-100 employee businesses is that only the really sick will sign up while the others, who aren’t sick and can’t afford the health care, don’t.

Install Unity and follow the tutorials on the Unity website, you’ll have to learn C# but I think that can be done in tandem with Unity. There are loads of resources on the internet as far as coding goes. You just have to have the drive and find the time to grind.
