That f421+3 string is why I think Cryomancer is the best variation. It resets them, leaving them standing, so you can then go for a b33 or something. They die FAST.

That only works if she has no meter, you have to crouch WITHOUT blocking leaving yourself open to get hit by anything else she decides to do, and there’s no way in hell you’re gonna keep doing it and let me dash up to you like that. The fact that you can’t block while ducking to avoid that makes it useless against a player with any kind of awareness.

In ST, the ONLY way to punish a whiffed jab shoryu from Ken is to standing in front of it and not block it. That’s a “put hair on your chest” type of shit to do. There are other games where the correct thing to do is not go into block animation so this isn’t a problem unique to MKX; MvC3 has certain projectiles you can duck if you just hold down but that will hit you if you are holding downback because you’ll go into blocking animation.

Either way, you played Injustice, you saw the absolute stupid way they use projectiles there, the blocking situation isn’t unique but the dumb ass projectiles is. You knew this was gonna happen when you bought the game.
