You can duck her machinegun btw. As long as she doesn’t have meter, she can’t threaten you with the overhead missile follow up.

It’s different in this game… Take bitch ass Full-Auto Jacqui, for example. She can sit at the back of the screen and spam one of her annoying special moves and most characters can’t do shit about it. Dash-blocking either doesn’t work or gets you killed when you mess up the input. Jumping is useless as well. She either comes to you, makes a mistake, or you’re fucked.

Had some games with Jag, I’d win pretty consistently(not as in I was destroying him or anything like that) in the games where he didn’t use that tactic too much but when he did I had no choice but to eat it, Jax has no options against that unless he’s close enough to armor through the first shot. Same with Liu, and Kenjustsu Kenshi’s grabs and reflect are too slow.

Not taking anything away from Jag, he’s quite good, I was just waiting for him to pick a different variation or character and he didn’t because* he knew*.

Full Auto Jacqui is a character you don’t want full screen or in your face. Her options in both positions are ridiculous. That character is damn near flawless.

Except that all of her specials are hilariously punishable on block.

You can duck it to avoid chip, but what then? You still can’t approach the chick unless you have a teleport.

She has 3 and a half days to confirm her strings into Gauntlet Strike or whatever other special you want to use, 1212 especially. The only time you should be worried about getting punished on block is on wake up.
