lol mystery metal. All we make is proper steel ( D & I, chrome, galvanized, galvannealed, galvalume, extragal, ultravit, solano, tin-plated, etc) , and expensive as fuck too. I also dont know how to ship you 5000lbs of steel (the smallest amount of scrap we really get), and we have an outside contractor that lends us pickup trucks in exchange for our scrap steel. 5160 steel is just an alloy steel, nothing fancy really. Its actually not that good for making weapons, due to the heat treating process (it’s used more for springs), although it’s what they USED to make weapons with.
It’s not that I think only they can do it, they are just the best at it 95% of the time. Can’t argue with results.

So the purpose of jail, really, is to beat and rape bad people.
I think most people are ok with criminals beating and raping each other.
Without the rape and beatings, jail wouldn’t be so bad.
So really, couldn’t we save a lot of money by just skipping jail together and just ceremoniously raping people after they are convicted. Like, breaking and entering would just be like, 40 minutes of getting stomped and a throat fuck. Then you can go back out on the streets.
The raping could be like jury duty for criminals (or maybe outstanding citizens?) And the beating as community service for lesser criminals. Or even as a community outreach program. At risk teens are required to hold down convicted criminals and watch brutal rape.
