ATT is a great team. When you look into an mma gym what you want are legit instructors. The training atmosphere matching your personality. The intensity of the training. Just the vibe.

I go to millennia mma. It feels like home. Then i got dudes like larenz larkin beating the shit out of me. Or that we have people coming in to train like Ronda. Having good sister gyms like csw and places like checkmat who we have guys affilliated with

Also look at the amount of all americans, judoka, bjj black belts, russians, or brazilians at the gym.

Then look at what the gym specializes in. Look at their roster of fighters.

But mostly look at yourself.
If you were like that one dude afraid of getting a boo boo or cooties who went into the mma thread a month ago. Who never popped in again.

Realize you will get covered in another dude’s spit, sweat, or blood.

Reallize that for the first 2 years you will get wrecked because people are better.

If you have humility and dedication then you will be good. Give it 6 months.

I commend people who practice MMA because that shit is brutal. I never wanted to get into it because I know once I lose a tooth I’m not getting it back (can’t walk around looking like a crack head, my smile is gorgeous…as far as I’ve been told).

Tonight at work, I had to follow one of the drunken hobos that hang outside our store, and he came up to us to tell us that he needed immediate medical attention because “his hernia opened”. Also had to work with one of the newer guys who switched from the morning stock crew to recovery. We have a visit tomorrow and the store has to look perfect, and while I’m putting away returns my manager told me to help him out and teach him how to recover the area he was going to work in and put away the items he had in said area. He does so, but doesn’t recover, and come back with, “You told me to go recover, but I couldn’t find any”.

This negro asked about five times how to do things, never did his work, kept complaining about having to stay until 10PM knowing he had to, and lied saying he had to catch a bus before telling the manager his ride was here. I couldn’t even get my work done because this tool had me checking in my manager to see if he could leave, and once he could leave, I rushed his ass out. He called the store as we’re leaving to apologize, but my manager didn’t give a shit, and I hung the phone.

How much do classes even cost? Most websites don’t even tell you the rates and a friend told me I might as well read a book…when it would be more beneficial to the aspiring practitioner to practice with other aspiring practioners physically instead of reading a book to self-teach without someone to confirm that they’re executing the proper technique?

craigslist is useful actually. Ive been buying/selling on CL for years. NEVER had a problem. not once. sometimes deals are amazing too.

last week I bought a brand new sealed 60gb xbox 360 arcade for…$60. jtagged(mod to run homebrew) and flipped that bitch for $260 next day. $200 profit for 10 minutes of soldering some wires. the guy even brought it to me and didn’t have to go anywhere.

usually I try to get people to deliver. its pretty easy because they need the money more than I need the item so. its way safer than going anywhere with money. unless its public place like starbucks or whatever and the item is brand new SEALED. like games or whatever.
