Seems some sites were advertising the free DLC monster with a certain special edition of the game, including their own site, but they likely meant only for Pre-Order. This goof is gonna end up costing 2K games.

Huh. I got my monster for free, which is ironic because I was expecting to have to pay for him lol. I’m pretty sure he was only free to those who pre-ordered the game in some shape or form, because I pre-ordered digitally and got him.

I’m supposed to get the monster for free, as well. 2K’s website states the Monster Race comes with all the DLC for free, hence why it was a hundred fucking dollars to buy that edition. But I am thinking that 2K games wanted the first monster to be only if you pre-ordered a good edition of the game, but every fucking site, YET AGAIN INCLUDING THEIR VERY OWN SITE, states that just by buying the best special edition of the game, you would get all the DLC for free. Kinda sucks when you get the season hunting pass or whatever it’s called, and then can’t get the very first DLC released.
Waiting on a reply from 2K support, but seeing a lot of other people who bought the same edition as me, and are getting the same problem.
