I like yipes row too. I’m sure its out of shape, but i think you would still see niggas get that work if he played team row. MSP plus yipes is just retarded though.
I was at Mashfest on Monday and no one was playing Marvel 2. I wasn’t really playing any games (had a game of Ultimate, two of Ultra, and five or so of Xrd) but if someone had put on Marvel 2 I would’ve stopped drinking and gone in. I probably suck now, but I still love that game. None of this nonsense that’s in Ultimate.

Jax has always been just an awful character.
And he was so bullshit in Annihilation. If he could just take off the arms, why the fuck did he have to go into surgery? Do you go to a surgeon every time you put on a jacket? Fucking nonsense, man.

Maybe I just watch the movie as a child still but I still enjoy it. Reptile was cool. I loved Sub Zero in it. That Johnny was dealt with within 5 minutes was hilarious to me. Animalities?! WHAT! I know the story is shit but I still really liked it.
But that Jax part I just can’t get over. Another thing is the cyborgs. If you’re mostly machine, why can’t you body these stupid fucks? It’s not like they have super strength. Then the cheesy fight at the end looked like a Shonen Jump manga. Raiden was also a fucking asshole. Whatever. Shut up.
As far as I’m concerned that shitty movie never happened. And even if it did it’s not exactly canon.

Fuck what you heard, Jax bodies niggas in MK2. Annihilation was some terrible shit. I remember my aunt and I being pretty excited and then that happened to us at the movie theater…Wild Wild East can eat a dick too. My aunt can stay godlike for taking me to movies when I was a kid.

I always felt like they never got him right. Is he a zoner? A brawler? A grappler? He has everything from those categories yet never shined in any. I guess he did get OP as fuck in MK9 but that was because they patched everyone else and ignored his ass.
I still haven’t seen his variants in MKX so maybe he’ll be better but after MK2 I Just really didn’t care about the guy.

This has to do more with how daffy Boon is in his design process than anything else. I don’t necessarily think he looks at a character as needing certain things so much as “oh look, lets give him this because it’ll be cool”. Granted some of the stuff is cool sometimes but it leads to characters seem really incoherent. Pretty sure that’s one of the reasons why everybody has some kind of fireballs in those games.
