What got me wanting to play it was that damn video showcasing the Evil Ryu/Oni DLC. That shit was fucking awesome.

All the reviewers man, they were talking about this shit like it was Buddah Christ the video game. I was expecting to cry at it these dudes had me so pumped. I ended it looking like this
Don’t get me wrong, visually there are some incredibly beautiful moments in it that involve the shine of the sand and some great shadow effects. But god damnit its not $15 worth of greatness.
I loved every second of Journey. It was exactly what it said it was, a journey.
Anyway Asura’s Wrath is some of the best stoned gaming i ever experienced Combat has no depth but it’s fun when your kickin ass and countering fools anyway and the characters are fucking awesome, and the look of the game is super unique.
I’m kinda hype for CC2’s Jojo’s game based on what I liked about Asura.

Let’s make something really damn clear here as to why I was so letdown with Asura’s Wrath. 1. Asura has one of the best designs for a protaganist on Capcom’s side. The dude looks awesome. 2. The trailers had him lifting up generic enemies and slamming them into each other, grabbing poles and ramming them into enemies. So the game looked a BLAST. I was hyped as hell and couldn’t wait to rip through enemies like I can in Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, and DMC. Turns out there is no gameplay that’s even remotely satisfying and this visually awesome character can only raise hell in cutscenes. A complete letdown to my over-the-top gameplay expectations. And the salt on the wound? You can play as Yasha whose stages reminded me of Shinobi on PS2. Damn. So cold.
Naw 5 guys is over rated. I can make a burger for less at home taste way better. Greasy buns an shit, no thanks. Same with In n Out. Not impressed at all.
