oh yeah, I should add that the main menu music is actually pretty good…i haven’t fucked with the static vs dynamic music styles…does anybody have a preference??? I also like how they remix’d Take Me For A Ride, one of the worst songs in human creation.
I seem to see a ton of fucking Phoenix and Dante’s online. I also see a lot of other players learning, and I’ve been messaged by people asking how to do shit quite a bit. It’s nice, cuz I think there seems to be a TON of new MvC players coming out. Sadly, this means you may play online and abso fucking lutely run through some poor nobody.
I’m just gonna be drinking and playing this all night. Anybody feels up to playing a drunken scrub learning the ropes with various characters, and re-exploring past favourites (mmmmmmorrigan), hit me up on 360.
If I had to list a gripe however, being kicked to the main menu whenever you fail to find a match (and you will, think of SFIV), is a bitch and a half. Oh and the fact I paid extra for the special edition SOLELY for the reason of playing Shuma as fast as humanly possible, only to have to wait ONE MONTH, was a slap in the face too. Could’ve probably lemme know that ahead of time, fuckers.
i’ve been sitting at work all day with my copy of the game right next to me (got it shipped to my work), so when i finally leave here in about 20 minutes i will finally get my hands dirty with this mess. going to be hitting people with hammers for free.
Don’t bother trying to join ranked/player matches, just go to arcade mode and set it so you can be challenge via ranked/player match. I get into an arcade round, do half a combo then get put into a ranked match. It saves a lot of time.
I don’t understand juggle combos/knockdown combos at all, nor do I understand air juggle assists. Can someone explain it as well as what buttons to use? The rest of my game is pretty decent, I can hit confirm chain combos into super really easily. The combo window in this game is fucking huge, even for crazy chain/links My Deadpool keepaway rapes everyone online, if my rushdown akuma loses too much health quick I pull out Deadpool.
@Damned: You need to save 5$ that badly? Unless you can get a used copy for less than 55$ then by all means.
OHHHHH I almost forgot… The legendary Ken Jennings has returned to Jeopardy! Him and another Jeopardy champion are playing against a computer named “Watson” right now. Few can stand against the intellectual power of THE KEN?. This dude’s brain has the Power Cosmic, I’m sure of it.
He’s behind at present, though. Let’s see if his “Power Cosmic” is going to save him or will he just end up no-selling like Silver Surfer in recent years.
I’m pretty sure they did say that several times in several places. You should get Jill and Shuma for free, but that’s it. (I still expect that to get fucked up, though, considering what’s been done with the game so far as far as leaks go.)

I tried to get my two SRK real life friends to play me and I think they were playing each other. My friends are bums.
Oh well, I just sat in training mode for like 40 minutes or something learning parts of Chris’ BnB combo. Now Glee is on and it’s time for a MvC3 break.
I just gots to learn the main combo with each of my teams bros and I should be set for at least the first week. It’s a fun game. After playing it for a little while, the whole “XFC Character kill combo” thing just seems so situational and like a waste. Just throw away a level one x-factor to kill one character?
I’ll probably change my tune once I get online and get character killed like 30 times. But until then, I am having fun learn how to do other things then shoot people.
Regardless of what some top marvel players say, Marvel 3 is awesome. It feels more smoother, and I really think that it’s going to be a while before there is any tier system set in stone. game is super balanced and I have never been so hyped and have the utmost enjoyment of a video game since 3rd strike. Anyone that talks shit on this game should just sell their game off to someone else and pick up a Wii. Seriously, this game is super fun and all the negative internet BS is straight up stupid.
I’m going to have long sessions on this game that’s for sure.

it’s nice not having to worry about shit like ‘is this too cheap’ or ‘will he ragequit’ cuz I can do stupid shit all day so long as it works. I get the feeling everybody is creating. The reason SRK hasn’t imploded is simple because people haven’t got curious enough to see how the various forums are updating
