MvC3 is a cross between TvC and MvC2. It really is.
My friend says it feels like a “heavier TvC” which makes sense.

well, I find linking supers to be a bit easy for my scrub ass. Even in the air, for the most part, I pull off what I try to do. Getting thrown off by the 3 attack buttons though, not gonna lie. Just gotta practice, and get used to the control scheme, I suppose.
The game is beautiful though, no word of a lie, and the little attentions to detail are great (Deadpool beats wolverine, then talks about how he just beat wolverine, for instance…or Super Skrull beating a mutant, then calling them Mutant Scum). I actually enjoy the fight against Galactus, as you mainly just spam combos at him, try to avoid gdlk attacks, and watch eye candy crazy ass supers busting out of his every orifice.
I’ve seen some crazy ass combos that I pulled off by pure accident. I still can do crazy shit with Morrigan, who seems better than in the old game. Ryu and Akuma are different enough to warrant both in there, but I still feel Akuma isn’t right for this game. A few of the other characters either let me down, or I don’t know them well enough (Dormammu I hated when I first played him, until I figured out how his magic spells work).
I definitely feel I’ll be getting killed a lot if I try taking my ‘skills’ online though…I miss jumping after characters, I drop combos alot, and my defence skills are trash lol. Oh, and I suck with assists, but I’m still in the process of learning what they exactly do.

This is where you need to find a woman who will appreciate you for you and won’t put such an emphasis on days like this. I went out and bought ish for my girl even though she really doesn’t care about stuff like this but I do it because I like to. There is no pressure on either end. I feel you though and would not want to deal with women that are what you described. Too much unnecessary drama.
I took my MvC3 talents online and there are a lot… A LOT of awful players. Just disgusting. The game is interesting though. The motions are lenient, but at the same time, they aren’t. The game is simple with A B C launcher A B C super but at the same time, complex. It is hard to explain. Once you start playing, you will know what I mean.
I was super excited with SF4 and then once I really got into the game, was severely disappointed. Who knows if that will happen with MvC3.

I’m sure it is because of day 1 playing and no one really knowing what they are doing but moves feel delayed, it feels clunky, moves seem to hit harder, etc when compared to TvC.
It is like VF. First playing and watching the game, feels like molasses. Looks slow and robotic. Once I understood the game, it looks fast and plays fluidly.

It wasn’t loosely based on fact, then commercialized to hell and back, like Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc-- Saint Valentine had zip zilch to do with love or romance or marriage.
