So it was all dark at some house we went up to tonight to trick-or-treat. Man, as we closed in on the door some punk kid jumped out and scared us. Man, I put up them dukes and was all crazy eyed. I was all pumped up and thinking I was a bad ass and how that should have been a real bad dude. But then I thought about that and well, I would just get beat up.
I got tailed by a cop on the way home from gym. Dude was literally circling the gym’s parking lot in his cruiser. He parked when I walked out of the gym, and followed me as soon as I got in my car. Followed me all over the parking lot, and out onto the streets. Followed me for a good while at tailgating distance, and he gave up when he realized I wasn’t going to go any faster than 5 below the speed limit. Made an insta u-turn right in the middle of the road (no median, just u-turned over the double yellow line) and drove the other way.
Reminds me of another time a cop followed me from a 7-11 parking lot all the way home, and even followed me as I parked my car in my own parking lot and walked toward my house. I’m sure he saw me stop by 7-11, PAY FOR MY STUFF, and walk out, but he still followed anyway.
Both times I was in full gym attire. Not even in the types of clothes that they love to call hoodlum/dealer/troublemaker/gangster clothes.
I really hate insomnia. I have shit to do, and I can’t do it right now because I shouldn’t solder in an insomniac state. The only thing I can do is sit here and slowly drive myself insane with the fact that I can’t sleep. I think I know where my box of books is. Maybe I’ll fish something out of it and catch up on my reading. Ever see a lit major’s backlog? Ain’t pretty. It’s even worse now that I have a degree, because I’ve long since realized I’m not catching up, yet the books keep on piling up.
