I really enjoyed darksiders. It was dark Zelda and wasn’t very difficult, but I really enjoyed the presentation of the game and the world they created.
The animations in the characters were really solid. I was glad that there wasn’t a quick time event to kill enemies and you just got to press a button to watch war do badass stuff.
While most action games are like that now a days and darksiders didn’t really do anything new at all I did have a blast playing it. That and bayonetta Were the first games I got from gamely so I always tend to compare the two (I didn’t like bayonetta at all, didn’t like how it always removed you from the game world with tons of menus and ranking screens and just wasn’t my cup if tea). I though darksiders was great and can’t wait for part 2.

Speaking of comic book stuff, especially I vaguely remember someone mentioning comics in the last thread when I was catching up, I have to say, even removing my dislike for Frank Miller, having finally gotten around to reading The Dark Knight Returns, I found it highly overrated.
It’s not horrible, mind you, but it’s “just” okay (if that).
