lol NHL the sport and NHL the video game are two different beasts. It’s basically like playing fifa, only the scores dont end 0-0 all the time, and you can absofuckinglutely destroy some people with hits. Sure, NHL games can be boring at times (so can baseball), but the video games are a whole different thing. I know Justin Wong enjoys them, and plays a pretty mean game.
I have a lot of friends who dunno a single rule of hockey (lol I kill them with offsides), but love the fuck out of that game, just due to the fun factor. Avoiding playing an NHL video game is like avoiding playing an NBA video game. Sure you can do it, but why brag about it?

And then come to find out, it’s to make a long vowel sound because you can’t just assume a vowel has a long or short sound like you can in English…
