So this new Nicki Minaj song with Eminimen is hella stupid. I had to friends trying to explain to me that the chorus being “Rawh Raw like a Dungeon Dragon” was a metaphor for how their alter egos are locked away inside.
Some people assume I am fucking stupid. This bothers me. If you spend 4 minutes on some shit that had nothing to do with your chorus it doesn’t get fixed by adding some shit at the end. This is called bad writing. The song is bad. The world would be a better place if people could admit that they like bad things.

That’s the thing. Some creative people are naturals and don’t have to get all philosophical about their shit. They just write/paint/play/sculpt/act, etc and the world orgasms. Then there’s those individuals are are truly good at what they do, but not necessarily naturally talented. They agonize over their work to the point that it’s too difficult for anyone to understand without expending some serious effort, which arguably takes the art form away from it’s intended value as entertainment, or at least social enlightenment, which at it’s core art is all about. A truly gifted artist is able to simply state what he wants to convey (through whichever medium he chooses) and says it through a language that comes naturally to him.
I’m certainly not saying that other types of artists aren’t as good, or that taking the time out to detail a bunch of imagery and symbolism isn’t of any benefit, but it does show when an artist is forced to try too hard to get his message across. :tup:

If you didn’t like T6 or something about T6, it’s still present in Tag2. Tag 2 is pretty much 6 with a rebalance and Tag.
