SRK Lounge New Owners beta

I plan to learn the easiest team with the most damage potential in MvC3 and just cheese it out all day. Make people angry. That’s it.

Should be fun.

I’m running Team Midget Mayhem: Zero/Joe/Arthur for giggles.

And running Team Fuckin’ As: Ammy/Arthur/Albert for wins.

As I see it.

Freakin’ this. hahaha

I will admit, this site basically turned me into an MvC2 bully at the local arcade. And I liked it. Because of the sheer amount of character possibilities and playstyles, it was really awesome to hear of so many dynamics that I probably wouldn’t have heard of without this site. And I wouldn’t have been as non-scrubby had it not been for SRK. hahah

Don’t try to zone, the instant you start zoning you’ll be put in a spot that you can’t get out of for most of the round. DJ’s normals beat every one of Sim’s so just go for trades honestly. If Sim fireballs and he’s half a screen away or less tag him with a jump roundhouse since he’ll still be ass out in the fireball animation for a year. Also once you do get in don’t go for the crossup shit that nearly every DJ player does unless you know for a fact you can make it near perfectly meaty because Sim can short slide under you real quick. Sorry that’s all real broad stuff but I don’t play DJ. I do know to use fierce and strong maxouts instead of jab though since Sim can low strong under the jab ones.

Am I a sheep for wanting to main Dante? That movelist is going to wind up looking like something out of the Space Shuttle. He appears to have the Captain Corridor AAA as well, but not having him on point cutting shit up doesn’t sound like fun to me.

I’ll have to cook up a good zone/lame team as well…

pffft, i’m just gonna do what I always do, and pick whichever random characters I have the most fun with in MvC3. If I read an X-Men comic, I may pick wolverine. Itching for some SF? I’ll play Ryu or whatever other generic characters I feel like playing (why can’t we get a MvC Blanka or Dhalsim, so we can do crazy super versions of their moves???). I didn’t pick Juggernaut, Thanos, and Blackheart in MvC2 and hope to win, lol. MvC2 always felt like it was TOO advanced for me, or DEMANDED a stick for competitiveness. We shall see on the 15th, how well I can do though, I suppose. Gotta admit, I will likely be rocking either MODOK or Dormammu full time.

As for the front page news, I’m saddened to see MLG let Tekken go, but more confused as to why they never go for the SF games. I would love to see MLG money coming to SF tourneys. I already get the feeling the next Evo could be even crazier than last year (I’m debating going…I’d have to cash some stocks, and cancel my Cuba vacation, and other shit…might just go 2012 instead, after I get some AE practice under my belt). I’m thinking by 2012, G4 will have the intelligence to just fucking air that shit on TV. At LEAST the semi-finals, and some of the preliminaries

I feel the same way. I just want to release all my pent up rage on the retarded SRK scrubs and make them feel unloved and unwanted. I want to destroy them with such efficiency that they don’t even have the time to grasp what happened to them, and I will keep rematching them until they ragequit.

Not to mention learning stylish deadbody combos to desecrate their bodies once defeated.

Stay Free!: Now 40% More Absorbent…

…Bitches.

I’m only going to play a lame zoning team. Probably Storm/Dormammu/Arthur or something like that.

There’s bad blood between Street Fighter and MLG from history.

Thank you Grog. Hopefully, I will absorb some of this and then become a better DJ player who sucks less against Sim compared to the average DJ player.

Marvel 3: I’m probably going to play a team along the lines of Viper/Storm/Skrull or Viper/Storm/Wesker. I saw something from Magus that Viper/Wesker works well, so I’ll try that out. I could probably put Akuma or Tron in the third slot as well, but it’ll all play out for me.

That has become the main reason for me to go to EVO, or at least try to go to EVO every year…to meet the SRKGD regulars.

If I am able to go…I’ll most likely NOT enter any games this year, even though I did better last year on SSF4 than the year before.

Though it would be nice to ruin some shit talker’s dream…and there were quite a bit of shit talkers last year.

No one **asks **to be raped…:coffee:

from watching the JWong vs. Marn matches posted on the front page, Dante seems pretty good. Unless I’m missing something, he can chain one of supers like AHVB.

I’m eager to bring back my Green Team. It used to be Amingo/Hulk/Shuma-Gorath, but looks like Amingo is being swapped out for She-Hulk. I would bust out the Green Team in MvC2 against people who were much worse than me to keep things interesting.

Team Russia (Zangief/Colossus/Omega Red) was for people who were really bad.

Still, despite how much I want to play MvC3, I don’t think I’m going to rush out and get it right when it comes out. Not only do I not have an arcade stick for 360, I also don’t have a XBox Live Gold membership. I suppose I could get those things, but I don’t feel like it’s worth it for one game.

Seriously, Evo has become a big social event for me. Playing in the tournament is fun but what drives me to spend 700-800$ on plane tickets, 300$ on hotel and make my way there is purely to meet the guys I enjoy hanging out with.

Your av is hilarious

I believe that was the xfc super cancel that everyone can potentially do

seeing the x-force costumes in action last night really made me wish that warpath was a character. but I guess he would have just been another punching/slashing dude…although they could have turned him into a grappler too, maybe something like Alex.

I’m probably going to buy mvc3 when it first comes out, and have some northwest pros show me the ropes. i’ll get good enough to be casually competitive. but not near where i was with mvc2 when i skipped all my classes to play it everyday in school (even then at my peak, i was garbage. but i did manage to beat everyone in my arcade at least once111!!!111!).

will not bother playing it online.

I’m still undecided about evo. I’m most likely gonna use all my vacation time on a trip to china, because i haven’t been back in over two years and want to see my family again.

hahaha cooooooold bloooooooooded. that would be crazy if i actually did that. i can’t see myself doing that to someone’s cellphone though.

damn right*

*when they can. working out doesn’t always help that area. some don’t have it in them.

watching Justin and Marn play, i’ve realized that MVC3 is possibly way too hard for me to attempt. i only played MVC2 maybe 3 times in my life and hated it. i’ll probably try it though, but i’m not hyped for it like everybody else seems to be. i like SF4:AE. it needs to come out for PC!

i might try to get to Evo in 2012. incognito of course. i’ll probably say i’m ckrazy or something.

Does that work? Sounds unsafe.

If you can’t shake the habit completely, at least teach yourself to do crouching Fierce xx Level 1 Soul Throw super instead, because it does 30% damage.

I’ll play anyone in MvC3 that wants to fight my Amaterasu.

Ammy is too based for her own good.

I did later. c.fierce xx rh drill is very very unsafe in A2, and you should never do it. You have forever and a day to activate CC to punish it. I’ll figure out c.fierce xx ST super at some point, but most of my meter usage is punch AC, so I won’t have many times to use it.
